How to Request Account Deletion
If you would like to delete your Read Bean account and associated data, you can do so in one of the following ways:
In-App
Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account and follow the instructions.
Via Email
Send a request to feedback@readbean.app with the subject line "Account Deletion Request."
Please include the email address associated with your account.
What Happens When You Delete Your Account
When you request account deletion:
Your account profile and personal information will be permanently deleted
Your reading history and saved content will be removed
Your vocabulary lists, learning progress, streaks, and achievements will be erased
Your speaking practice history and scenario data will be deleted
Any stored preferences and personalization settings will be removed
Data Retention
We may retain limited data where required for:
Legal compliance
Security purposes
Fraud prevention
Enforcement of our Terms of Service
Any retained data will be deleted in accordance with applicable laws and our internal retention policies.
Processing Time
Most deletion requests are processed within 5 minutes
Full removal from backups and archived systems may take up to 7 days
